Has Roger Stone Violated His Gag Order yet?

Yes

On July 16, Judge Amy Berman Jackson found that Stone has voilated his gag order and has now ordered him to stop posting on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter — on any subject.

It's been a long road to this violation. In previous court drama:

On Thursday 6/20, prosecutors alleged that new Instagram posts by Stone violated his gag order.

And so on Friday 6/21 judge Amy Berman Jackson ordered Stone to explain himself by Thursday 6/27

And previously...

On Friday 3/1, Judge Amy Berman Jackson ordered Stone's lawyers "to explain why they failed to tell her before now about the imminent publication of a book that could violate his gag order."

And, on Monday 3/4 Robert Mueller notified the judge of a new Instagram post that may have violated the order as well.

So on 3/5, Judge Amy Berman Jackson requested a full explanation from Stone by Monday March 11 explaining "all steps he took, or communications he had with the publisher or any retailer, if any, concerning the release or sale of the book."

Since then, on 3/14, in a status conference, Stone "appeared to get a reprieve" and the judge did not find him in voiolation currently. However, she also set a trial date all the way in November, so we'll see how long he lasts.
